Apple Sauce

Apple Sauce - Grant Wilson
Double, triple, etc as needed

4 Apples, McIntosh are best, or Honeycrisp.
3/4 Cup Sugar
1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Ground Cloves
3/4 Cup Water


Preparing the Apples
1. Use an apple peeler/corer to prepare the apples.
1. Peel Apples and cut into quarters from top to bottom.
2. Cut out the core from each Apple quarter.
3. Cut each cored Apple quarter in half again.

Making the Sauce
1. Add all ingredients to a large pot on medium heat.
2. Once bubbling, reduce heat.
3. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
4. Mash the apples thoroughly with a potato masher.
5. Simmer for 5 minutes more.
