Authentic Marinara Sauce

Authentic Marinara Sauce -

4 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 24oz. tomato purèe
12oz. water
1 clove garlic
Fresh basil

1. Warm a small saucepan on medium/ow heat.
2. When the pan is warm add a generous pour of olive oil (4-6 Tbsp).
3. When the Olive Oil is aromatic, add garlic.
4. When garlic is aromatic, add tomato purèe, water and a few basil leaves.
5. Bring to a simmer over medium/low heat and salt to taste.
6. Allow to cook, partly covered, for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally as the sauce reduces.

Serve with a pound of any pasta, or on pizza, in Grant's Lasagna, Lasagna in general, in Eggplant Parmesan, on a Chicken Cutlets, with Grant's meatballs, etc.
