Belgian Waffles

Belgian Waffles - Reanna Wilson
6 servings

INGREDIENTS
3 1/2 Cups Flour
1 Tbsp Dry Yeast
3/4 Cup Lukewarm Milk
8oz Softened Butter
2 Eggs
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Vanilla
8oz Belgian Pearl Sugar
Toppings: Whipped Cream, Nutella, Fresh Fruit, Powdered Sugar, etc.

METHOD
1. Dissolve the Yeast in the Warm Milk.
2. When Yeast is dissolved, gradually add Yeast Mix and all ingredients to the Flour. except the Pearl Sugar.
3. Mix thoroughly.
4. Let the dough rise until it doubles in size. This can take around 30 minutes. (Putting it somewhere warm will help).
5. After the dough rises, add the Belgian Pearl Sugar.
6. Divide the dough into small balls, 3-4oz each. (Around the size of a golf ball or a little bigger)
7. Bake in a heated, greased waffle iron. The Sugar Pearls will be hot so, remove with tongs.

HOW TO SERVE
Top with whatever you like and serve immediately. In my opinion, the only TRUE way to eat these is with Nutella on them. :)
