Chocolate Chip Cookies
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Butter
3/4 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla
1 Egg
2 1/4 Cups Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
2 Cups (12 oz) Chocolate Chips
METHOD
1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
2. In a small mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a separate large mixing bowl, mix the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
4. Add vanilla and egg to the butter mixture. Beat well.
5. Add the dry mixture from step 2 to the butter mixture. Mix thoroughly.
6. Add chocolate chips and integrate thoroughly.
7. Take a tablespoon of the dough at a time and roll into a ball. Place each ball 2 inches apart on an uncreased cookie sheet.
8. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
9. Remove from oven and place cookies on a cooling rack.
