Deviled Eggs
INGREDIENTS
6 large eggs
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
salt and pepper, to taste
paprika, for garnish
METHOD
Hard Boil the Eggs
1. Place the Eggs you in a single layer in a pot.
2. Cover the Eggs with cold Water until about 1 inch above the Eggs.
3. Bring to a boil.
4. Once boiling, cover the pot and remove it from the heat. Do NOT lift the lid.
5. Let it sit undisturbed for 14 minutes.
6. Place the Eggs in an ice bath for 10 minutes.
7. Gently tap the eggs on a had surface and peel off the shell.
8. Rinse the eggs and pat dry.
Make the Filling
1. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise.
2. Remove the yolk to a small bowl with a spoon and place the egg whites on a plate.
3. Mash the yolks with a fork.
4. Add the mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper. Stir everything together until it is smooth.
Assemble the Eggs
1. Use a spoon to add a portion of the deviled egg mixture back into the hole of each egg white.
2. Sprinkle on paprika for garnish.
