Heavy Burgers

INGREDIENTS

Patties
1 lb Ground Beef
1 lb Ground Pork
1 Tbsp Fresh Parsley
1 tsp Seasoned Salt or Garlic Salt
1 tsp Soy Sauce or Worcestershire Sauce
Ground Pepper to taste

Filling Ideas
Cheese of any type, cubed small or grated
JalapeƱos
Olives
Salsa
Pepperoni
Prosciutto

METHOD
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all "Patties" ingredients with your hands.
2. Form into 8 hamburger patties.
3. Make an indentation in the middle of 4 of the patties that extends no further than 1/2 inch from the edge of the patty.
4. Fill each indentation with any combination of filling ideas.
5. Top each "indented" and "filled" patty with a "non-indented" patty.
6. Seal the edges of the top and bottom patties with your hands.
7. Top each heavy burger with some indicator as to what is inside to help you keep track of which burger is which.
8. Grill gently, without pressing the burgers down.
9. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
