Mashed Potatoes

Mashed Potatoes - Grant Wilson

1 5lb Bag Yukon Gold Potatoes, peeled and cubed (any potato will do)
2 Tbsp Rock Salt (Or regular Salt)
1 Stick Salted Irish Butter (Or any Salted Butter)
1/2 - 1 Cup Milk
Salt and Pepper

1. Place the cubed Potatoes in a large pot.
2. Add the Salt and enough Water to cover the Potatoes an inch or so.
3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium.
4. Boil until Potatoes are soft. (Take out a piece, rinse under cold water and taste it. It should be completely soft.)
5. Turn off the heat/Remove from heat.
6. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pan.
7. Cut the butter into 1 Tbsp pats and add them to the potatoes.
8. Use a potato masher to mash the potatoes until there are no chunks left.
9. Stir in the Milk a bit at a time until it reaches the desired consistency.
10. Salt and Pepper to taste.
