Nutella Donuts

Nutella Donuts
Serves 8

2 sheets store-bought puff pastry (OR Pillsbury croissant dough if you can't find sheets of puff pastry)
1/2 cup Nutella
2 tbsp powdered sugar

1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set it aside.
3. Cut each puff pastry sheet into four equal squares.
4. Working one square at a time, using a sharp knife, cut 1-inch slits along the bottom edge of the square, 1/2-inch apart.
5. Spread some Nutella along the top of the square, leaving a 1/2-inch border of pastry around the sides.
6. Starting with the top edge with the Nutella, roll the dough toward the bottom edge, into a log.
7. Bring the ends of the log together to form a donut shape.
8. Transfer the donut to the baking sheet and repeat the process until all of the puff pastry is used up.
9. Bake the donuts until they are golden, about 18 to 20 minutes.
10. Allow the donuts to cool before dusting with powdered sugar and enjoying.
