Texas Sheet Cake - Grant Wilson

INGREDIENTS

Mix #1
1/2 Cup Butter
3 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa
1 Cup Hot Water
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
1/3 Cup Milk

Mix #2
2 Cups Sugar
2 Cups Flour

Mix #3
2 Eggs
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Vanilla

Frosting
1/2 Cup Melted Butter
4 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa
3 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
6 Tbsp Milk


METHOD
1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. In a medium saucepan, melt together all of the ingredients for "Mix #1".
3. In a bowl, mix together all of the ingredients in "Mix #2".
4. In a separate bowl, mix together all of the ingredients in "Mix #3".
5. Add "Mix #1" to "Mix #2" and mix well.
6. Add "Mix #3" to the above mix and stir thoroughly.
7. Pour into a large Greased cookie sheet with sides.
8. Bake for 20 minutes or until done.
9. When the cake is almost done baking, mix together all of the "frosting" ingredients.
10. When the cake is done baking, remove it from the oven and pour the hot frosting mix over the hot cake.
